Plastic sucks, Nature rocks

Why just talk when you can actually do stuff?

Pretty words mean nothing. We want action. That’s why we’ve committed to making our business as sustainable as we can.

The environment and decent working conditions are topics that are very close to our hearts, and on this page you can read what we’re doing to make our business more eco-friendly and ethical.

Our goal is to provide you with clean products that are made with respect for your health, the environment, farmers and factory workers.

And if you have a tip on how we can improve, we’ll be more than happy to hear from you!

Zero plastic. Seriously.

Plastic is a huge problem and it’s everywhere: the ocean, the forests, the deserts, even inside animals and people. It’s depressing. Have you ever received a package and sighed at the amount of plastic packaging inside? So have we.

And that’s why it’s important to us to work with a shipping partner, who doesn’t use plastic packaging. When you buy something from The Introvert’s Lair, your order is packaged with only recyclable cardboard sleeves and recycled materials. No bubble wrap, plastic air pillows or plastic bags in sight. Nope.

Our commitment to zero plastic also affects the range of products we have in our shop. For example, stickers are hugely popular online, but we’ve decided not to sell stickers because they’re made with plastic.

Last but not least, we use inks and dyes with no plastic/PVC in them.

Our shop is a plastic free zone. That’s a promise.

Clean clothing - organic and recycled

We print our designs on clothing from the brand Stanley/Stella. We chose them specifically because their products are not only excellent quality but also manufactured under eco-friendly and ethical conditions.

Stanley/Stella are committed to sustainable production and fair working conditions. And they’re certified by some of the best independent organizations in the field, such as GOTS, OEKO-TEX® and OCS (Organic Content Standard), among others.

They’re also an important member of the Fair Wear Foundation, who work passionately towards decent working conditions in the textile industry.

The clothing products we carry from Stanley/Stella are either 100% organic cotton or a mix of organic cotton and recycled materials.

Water-based inks

Our designs are printed with water-based inks that are 100% free from plastic/PVC. They give you a long lasting print while being much better for the environment.

For our clothing/fabric products, the inks we use are also certified ecological and vegan.

Eco-friendly paper

Our posters are printed on paper with the FSC-label, which means the paper is sourced from responsible and sustainable sources.

In an FSC-labeled forest, no more wood is cut down than the forest can replace, animals and plant life is protected and the employees working in the forest have been educated, receive a fair wage and have proper safety equipment.

In short:

No plastic

Organic cotton and recycled materials

Water-based inks

Eco-friendly paper

Ethical working conditions
